We are delighted to introduce the second Korean-American Educational Researchers Association (KAERA) PK-12 Teacher Mentoring Workshop, titled “A Dialogue among Korean American Educators across PK-12 Education Systems: Navigating Complex Political Terrain”
Date: Saturday, November 11, 2023
Time: 1:00-3:30 pm (EST)
Platform: Via Zoom (TBA)
The workshop will be presented in English and consist of a panel session and breakout sessions. During the first breakout session, you will be able to choose one of the three topics:
- Leadership pipeline and career advancement
- Integrating Korean American cultural and ethnic identity in the curriculum
- Navigating challenging state policies and political climates
During the second breakout session, you will engage in a networking SUDA (수다) session.

- This workshop is free of charge.
- All attendees will receive certificates of participation.
- Each of the first 30 registrants of pre- and in-service teachers will be awarded $100 professional development support.
