The KAERA Mentoring Committee is pleased to announce the following inaugural mentoring workshop for Korean American educators in PreK-12.
Working as Korean American Educators in PK-12: Challenges and Possibilities
Saturday, November 5, 1:00-3:30 pm (EST)

This workshop for Korean American pre- and in-service teachers is co-sponsored by the Korean-American Educational Researchers Association and the Overseas Koreans Foundation. The workshop will be presented in English and consist of one panel session and two breakout sessions. During the breakout sessions, each participant will be able to choose two topics of their interest and join small group discussions facilitated by 2-3 educators and leaders (see the panelist and facilitator bios here).

All workshop attendees will receive certificates, and each of the first 30 registrants who joins the workshop will be awarded $100 for professional development support. Please widely distribute this message along with the attached flyer to Korean American pre- and in-service teachers around you.
